But before choosing the right GPS device, you should consider what features are important to you. Long life batteries, larger screens and pre loaded maps are pretty much standard features on most of the newer models of handheld GPS’s. Other highly helpful features include quick link to satellites, voice control, and lots more. Another thing to take into account is the total you want to pay.
Handheld GPS units are fantastic for biking but you can also use them for camping, hunting, boating, geocaching, or really any outdoor leisure pursuit.
